Abbeymill Farm Cottage

Located on the banks of the River Tyne just outside Haddington near Edinburgh, Abbeymill Farm Holiday Cottage gives visitors a wonderful location to relax and explore East Lothian.

Set within a historical grade B listed farm steeped in local history, guests can enjoy a peaceful rural location while being only a stones throw from local shops, restaurants and attractions.

Depending on your time of visit we have sheep and horses rotating in the surrounding fields and chickens in the coop beside the cottage garden. For this reason we do not accept pets to stay in the cottage.

The farm sits directly on the footpath between Haddington to East Linton. Haddington is around a 1 mile stroll along the river path. A 5 minute walk over the bridge will take you to the beautiful Amisfield Walled Garden which is free to enter (a donation is suggested) and also sells seasonal produce from the garden.

The coast and its fabulous array of beaches to explore is a 15min drive away and Edinburgh a 25min train ride from the local station of Drem. Our cottage is also perfectly situated to explore the Scottish Borders including lovely historical towns and walking.
